THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
The purpose of the interview process is to help both of us decide whether our first impressions are more than just a fluke. Though I will initially guide the interviews, you are strongly encouraged to come prepared with questions of your own.
After you have submitted your application online, I will send you an e-mail with my answers to the questionnaire, along with the answers you provided me. This way, both of us can evaluate how well we think we will get along.*
If you decide you are still interested in being my boyfriend after comparing our responses, then simply follow the instructions in the e-mail to request a brief phone interview. As a safeguard to your privacy, you will be given a phone number to call at the agreed upon time. Phone interviews will last from 15 minutes to half an hour.
After all phone interviews have been completed, selected Erics will be invited to an in-person interview, which will be conducted by me and a panel of a few close friends. At the end of the meeting, the panel will be available to answer any questions you may have about me in private. Similarly, if you would like to provide them, I will speak to any of your references about what kind of guy they think is right for you.
Depending on feedback from the panel and references, top candidates will be contacted for a final one-on-one interview. This interview may take the form
of a trial date or some other activity designed to test our interaction. An offer for the position of my boyfriend may be made at this time.
Application deadline is May 31, 2006. Submit your application now!

For example, on a question that deals with values, it might be important to you that we have an exact match, while on a question concerning personality type, you might be more interested in someone who is your opposite. I, however, may be less concerned that our values are perfectly aligned than I am that we share interests in common. Back to top
